My greatest reward for blogging is dear people like you reading my posts. Truly. But as awards season rolls round again in the blogging world, I can’t help my competitive side’s head from rearing up and craving a little nomination or two.
I was absolutely over the moon to win the Family category of BritMums’ Brilliance in Blogging Awards last year, so I feel greedy asking to be considered again, but nevertheless, the little badge is there below if you fancy giving me a nod. And this year, TOTS100’s Mum and Dad Awards aka the MADS have launched nominations at the same time, so if you don’t mind popping me in there as well I’d be very touched. The PreSchool, SchoolDays or Writer category are probably the most appropriate.
My blog is a celebration of family life in all its daft glory.
Just when you think you’ve got the hang of it, you forget your child’s Easter bonnet on the day of the parade and have to microwave grass to decorate one in time. Your oldest child uses Jedi mind tricks to control his siblings, while you have to admit you don’t know all the answers: you are an Ummy Mummy.
